<li>2 cups long grain white rice</li>
|
|
<li>4 cups water</li>
|
|
<li>8 oz tomato sauce</li>
|
|
<li>2 Tbsp chicken or vegetable bouillon powder</li>
|
|
<li>1.5 cups water</li>
|
|

|
<ol>
|
|
<li>Add oil to a large frying pan over medium-high heat.</li>
|
|
<li>Add uncooked rice, stirring continually until rice is toasted.</li>
|
|
<li>Stir in 4 cups water, tomato sauce, and bouillon.</li>
|
|
<li>Return to boil and leave uncovered <strong>10 minutes</strong>.</li>
|
|
<li>Stir in 1.5 cups water and return to a boil.</li>
|
|
<li>
|
|
Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer <strong>10 minutes</strong>.
|
|
</li>
|
|
<li>
|
|
Turn off heat and leave in place, covered for
|
|
<strong>20 minutes</strong>.
|
|
</li>
|
|
